Her parents worked in the Cities until they could buy a farm north of Gully where she grew up. She worked at Honeywell in the cities. She met, Marvin Wolden, at a dance in Highlanding. They were married and lived in Grand Rapids. Then moved to Marvin’s parents farm south of Gonvick, where they lived all their lives.
Mary Lou played the organ at the Lutheran Church in the country, and then in town for 43 years. She raised five children and loved going to all their events. She worked on the farm, milking cows, and in the field. She always had a big garden. She is a member of the ladies aide. She enjoys quilting. She loves her grandchildren, and great grandchildren and loves spending time with them.
